Unfortunately due to the river level being high and flowing so swiftly, it is to dangerous to run the raft race, and as such we have made the decision to cancel the event on May 13th. We are looking into the possibility of re-running it at a later date, but as yet we have no firm plans.
Keep checking this page or join our Facebook page for further updates.
Thank you for your continued support.

Arley to Stourport Raft Race is run annually in early May as a charity fund raising event organised by the Kidderminster and District Lions club. It starts above Arley on the west side of the river. The competitors congregate in a field and carry the rafts the short distance to the launch point.
It runs along the Severn for approximately 8 miles passing through Bewdley at about the half way point. Many competitors take this oppurtunity to quench their thirst in the riverside pubs at Bewdley, although alcohol is not recommended
It finishes at Stourport on Severn at the boat club with the rafts being extracted from the river a little way down stream adjacent to the rugby fields.
